

If your friend in a mutual server starts streaming and chooses to notify their friends, you will receive a push notification like below: The user has not disabled push notifications in their settings.The user has not muted the server that you are streaming in.The user has not received a Go Live notification in the last 6 hours.The user is a member of the server that you are streaming in and has access to the channel where the streaming is taking place.The user is friends with you on Discord.Other users will receive a notification that you are streaming if: After sending a Go Live notification, you must wait at least 15 minutes before you can send another notification, but you can still stream without sending a notification. Your preferences will be remembered for next time. If you would like to send a notification to your friends in this server to let them know that you are live streaming, ensure that the box labeled ‘Notify my friends in this server’ is checked before you click ‘Go Live’. Before you start streaming in an eligible server, you will see the pop-up below. This feature is only available on servers with less than 50 members and for streamers that have verified their phone number or email.
